2012 Pack Closing Campfire – Farewell to Huskies

Pack 3894 will start a new tradition this year which we hope will raise awareness among the local community , and our scouting district . The purpose is to have a unique large campfire in an urban area at the same time to bid farewell to our Cub Scouts bridging over to Boy Scouts. On Friday May 4th @ 6:30pm at 2232 W Lawrence , Pack 3894 is excited to present our Closing Season Pack Night / Campfire to recognize some our boys who have reached Cub Scouting’s highest honor and to bid farewell to the Huskies Den . During the next few months, there are plenty of opportunities to have your scout & family take advantage of his Cub Scout membership on special group rate activities, such as Chicago Cubs Night. The pack or dens do not need to go as a group, but usually your scout does need to be dressed in uniform to prove he is a Scout. See below for all those activities..

CEREMONY SCOUTS NEEDED MAY 9TH AND 10TH
The Chicago Area Council’s construction & metals industry dinner shows are the largest fund-raising events of the year for the Chicago Area Council. We expect that over 3,000 people will attend this year. This is a great opportunity to showcase your Scouting participation in the opening ceremonies in front of prominent community and business leaders. These events will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago on 151 East Wacker Drive in the east tower Grand Ballroom. Dinner will be provided for Scouts and leaders. 2012 World Cruz’n Cub Scout Day Camp

This year's Cub Scout Day Camp theme is World Cruz'n to explore culture and diversity across the World. Cub Scout Day Camp is 3 full day camp that allows any boys who are entering 1st grade through 5th grade ( in 2012-2013 school year) to start to earn requirements for their rank by doing various fun skills, projects and activities geared for the outdoors, nature, and other scout related programs.

Dates:  Wednesday June 20 - Friday, June 22 ( can't make this date? see below)
Time: Wednesday 8:15am-3:15pm, Thursday and Friday 8:30am-3:15pm
