The New Pack T-shirt Design was voted by all the boys at the Pack Night this past September. It was virtually unanimous decision on the design picked from 5 different styles. Pack 3894 will have it’s Summer Family Campout on July 20,21,22 at Indiana Dunes. Because of the expected lower attendance at an event in July, we had to book a smaller site as opposed to multiple sites the pack usually reserves. This mean we will need to CAP the event to 30 Campers, there might be some wiggle room with kids and siblings. This event will count towards the Pack Summer Time Achievement Award for any boy who attends ( A boy who attends a Pack or Council event in June , July & August receives this special award). Congratulations to Jack McCarthy, Owen Krappman & Declan Beyer for being awarded the Parvuli Dei Award on Saturday April 22nd.
Scout Mass is when our local Charter Queen of Angels Parish & Church recognize all our Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts for the community work and faith in Scouting that we provide back. A special mass is set aside for both units and the scouts to take part in the service. Any Scouts who earned the special Roman Catholic Parvuli Dei Award are presented this at the mass as well. If you plan on attending we ask the following to have your son wear his full uniform. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early. Scouts assigned roles in the mass should arrive at stated times below. Please quietly stay in the gathering space until mass begins. All Scouts will be in the opening procession and sit up front in the reserved pews with their leaders. After mass, the Scouts will hold a “coffee and” to thank parishioners for their support. Each den will be asked to provide a treat or beverage. Treats are for parishioners only, only after parishoners have cleared the premises should Scouts help themselves to leftovers.
Please plan on attending this special service.
