Halloween Pack Night October 24

Our theme this month is Responsibility.

Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume and families are welcome! We will gather at 6:30 pm OUTSIDE THE FRONT OF THE CHURCH. Then we will take a neighborhood hike; we will hike through Lincoln Square to Borelli’s Farmer’s Garden Market @ 2242 West Lawrence Avenue. As we walk, everyone will participate in a Scavenger Haunt. After our bonfire and games, everyone is invited to Borelli’s Pizzeria, 2124 W. Lawrence Avenue, for a pizza party, spooky libations, and music. And the game room is always open!

Every Scout must bring flashlight/headlamp (to be seen and to read Parade Route and Scavenger Haunt sheet as it will be dark at this time)/reflective tape on costumes – glow sticks will be provided.
Everyone must stay on sidewalks along the parade route.
Everyone must cross streets only at designated areas along the parade route and obey all street signs/signals.
As part of the “Scavenger Haunt” everyone will look for and collect Litter/Recyclables – a Service Project for our Community.
CAUTION: please do not pick up glass, anything sharp or slimy.
Surgical gloves and garbage/recycle bags will be supplied.
We will need crossing guards at Oakley/Wilson, (2) Lincoln/Wilson, Eastwood/Lincoln, Leland/Wilson and (2) Oakley/Lawrence.

We will be distributing Pinewood Derby cars this night; don’t leave without your car!

See you Friday!
