Cub Scout Push Mobile 2010

What is a Pushmobile? Its a go-kart with human power pushers, all of which are Cub Scouts!

EVENT: Indian Trails District Cub Scout Push Mobile 2010
DATE: Saturday October 16th , 2010
TIME: 10:00am – 2:00pm
WHERE: Irish American Heritage Center * 4620 W Knox Chicago, IL
WHO: Any Den of at least 4 Cub Scouts ( no more than 8 ) who can work with parents to design & build a go-cart ( SEE ATTACHED PDF LINK to see specifications) that will be used to race against other dens in the same Rank.

PRE-REGISTRATION? : YES! please email jbarrios@rcn.com BEFORE October 8th.

COST: $5.00 per den & $2.00 per patch for each Boy.

Service Project – Beach Cleanup Day

Queen of Angles is helping at a Nation Wide beach clean up day on September 25th. We are trying to get kids and their families to come to Foster Beach between 9-12pm to help with the clean up. Materials for the clean up will be provided by the National Alliance for the Great Lakes. They are sponsoring this event.

This would be a great Service Project for any Cub Scouts that would go towards the following Badges:
